In a close game it was the Lewisville Fire Ants 5, the Santa Fe Trailer Bitches 3 at the ballpark. Lewisville delivered all the runs required in the 3rd inning scoring 5 runners on 3 hits. The early run support proved sufficient for Victor Zambrano(1-3) and Lewisville. That was all the run support Zambrano required. Neither team managed to score after the 3rd inning. Zambrano was helped out by Chad Cordero who recorded his 4th save. Russ Ortiz(3-2) took the loss. He was not very effective, surrendering 5 runs in 3 innings. 'It wasn't my best outing, but I'll take the win' Zambrano said.
